Founding Principles
The Research Institute was founded for the following purposes:
- to conduct research in the separation, composition, and mechanism of active substances, the development of those substances into drugs and more effective clinical application of medicines
- to carry out projects in support of academic research in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics
- to provide refresher courses to professional pharmacists to contribute to a greater level of public health
Activities
- Raises, allocates, and manages funds for research
- Promotes research by operating the equipment center and animal testing lab
- Operates the Pharmaceutical Data Center
- Pursues joint research projects with the university, the research institute, and the industries
- Develops and offers refresher courses for professional pharmacists
- Participates in academic activities
