Graduates of the College of Pharmacy can pursue careers in clinical practice, manufacturing, and research in Pharmacy. Many of our alumni have found employment in the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (NISI), Korea National Institute of Health (KNIH), National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER), Korea Food & Drug Administration (KFDA), Korea research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology (KRIBB), Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) and KIST as researchers. Others have become patent lawyers, professors in universities in Korea or abroad, and entrepreneurs. The development of new drugs is more vigorously pursued than ever across the world, and Korea increasingly faces the need to enhance its drugs development capability up to internationally competitive levels. Moreover, the separation of prescriptions and filling prescriptions requires greater expertise in the administration of medication. This will further increase the demand for specialized professional pharmacists, which further widens career opportunities for graduates of our program.
