The Research Institute was founded for the following purposes:
to conduct research in the separation, composition, and mechanism of active substances, the development of those substances into drugs and more effective clinical application of medicines
to carry out projects in support of academic research in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics
to provide refresher courses to professional pharmacists to contribute to a greater level of public health
Activities
Raises, allocates, and manages funds for research
Promotes research by operating the equipment center and animal testing lab
Operates the Pharmaceutical Data Center
Pursues joint research projects with the university, the research institute, and the industries
Develops and offers refresher courses for professional pharmacists
